I was on my morning walk yesterday morning and dreaming of my life in the future and what I want to create. Then a question entered my mind asking myself, “How much time do you spend thinking of the future?” What a good question that was. I realised that I do spend more time than I need to thinking of the future and that this may stop me from fully living today. I have set my goals for the next 3 months and high level goals of what my life will look like in a year and I am taking action to create those. So really everything is under control. I don’t need to ponder and contemplate about the future very much at all. So the focus needs to be on TODAY. What do I need to do today to enjoy life and ensure I am loving and caring for others and loving and caring for myself? A wonderful reminder that today is precious and to enjoy it 100% as tomorrow will be here soon enough.

What is your King Lie?
A friend was talking recently about her King Lie. And I thought what on earth is that? She explained that most of us have some kind of main lie that we believe about ourselves. This more than likely is created in child hood through an incident or comment by someone, and we keep believing it as we grow up. Some examples of King Lie’s are I’m not perfect, I’m not good enough, I can’t do that etc. It is about doing a bit of digging within ourselves because there may be other smaller lie’s underneath the main one. To find out what your King Lie may be ask yourself what are the negative things I think about myself. When things go wrong what does my inner voice say to me? Once you know it you can then go about managing it and challenging it. Don’t let it run your life or what you think you can or can’t do because it is just a lie. A belief that is no longer of use and definitely does not serve you. It also damages your self-esteem. Remember you are a beautiful, gorgeous creation who has much to offer the world. What is your positive belief about yourself today?
